Ya, me too. Not sure what was going on with the sync. But I’m there too and the memory has been constant for several hours. I’ve never seen this on any of my nodes. This one has 8g and it’s using 40%. Super exciting!!!
I’m going to buy a PI and try with one of them next.
IBD sync memory usage and p2p memory usage are 2 distinct things.
During IBD the memory usage can get higher when large momentums are being processed.
Also the number or connections is an important factor.
Is anyone else seeing memory usage climb in steps? Before, it would climb all the time slowly. I’ll keep monitoring this.
back down to 39%. Looks like those CPU spikes are doing something. But the slowly growing memory usage has been fixed for sure.
Are those spikes in CPU% a big deal for something like a Pi?
probably not. Pis are pretty powerful these days. I’ll let you know when I fire one up.
