I think this research could be the most important innovation in crypto since 2008. I can understand their proposal and the design logic, but I’m not in a position to dissect the math of it. Regardless, I believe we as a community should support cutting edge research that could advance this project.
The author has pulled the AZ so this vote is more symbolic than anything. But if we were to approve a payout I would like to see it conditioned on some “expert” asking tough questions about the design in Github. Even if the design fails under scrutiny, I would support a payout.
I hope the community comes together and supports this applicant as a symbolic gesture.
